The Maluchi canal, belonging to Aruar, flowed along the small Pachuria, Barakokaranda and Baulikanda mouzas along the Maluchi village of Kanchanpur union in Harirampur upazila. Many big roof boats used to pass through that canal. But at present there is no system for navigating the canal as there are 2 barriers in the middle of the canal.

The canal of Shaljana Dhali Bari joins the river Ichhamati directly from the river Padma.

Padma river

The ever-terrifying Padma River flows through the southern part of Arua Union. Every year, the Nithur Padma is breaking down.
